NOT Powering ON...

ØCheck the Input Voltage level to be in the range of 176 V to 264 V AC using Multimeter.

ØCheck for Loose Connection and press the Connectors properly.

ØIn case, no voltage is measured, check and replace the respective wire.

Carriage Stuck / Improper Movement...

ØCheck the Carriage Belt and Gears

ØClean and Lubricate the Carriage Rod as discussed in the Perfect PM Kit.

ØCheck for any obstruction like Paper pieces in the path of the Carriage Movement, remove and Clean it.

Faint Printing...

ØCheck ribbon movement.

ØCheck ribbon quality

ØCheck the Printhead gap.

Powering ON , NOT printing...

ØCheck ribbon to be mounted properly and the Fabric moves to and fro in front of the Printhead pins.

ØCheck the Print head gap to be set proper for the thickness of the Paper.

ØCheck the Ribbon mask for not obstructing the Printhead Pins

ØPrint head may be overheated due to continuous printing. Allow printer head to cool; printer will

start printing after some time.

Some pins not firing...

ØCheck the Print head gap to be set proper for the thickness of the Paper

ØCheck the Printhead.

Paper not loading Automatically - in Cut Sheet Mode...

ØCheck for Paper feed sensor status in the printer

ØIn the Settings, Set paper Load + Park as enabled.

ØCheck for the paper end switch levers.

Paper not loading to TOF with push tractor...

ØCheck for tractor lever position and set it to pin feed mode.

ØCheck tractor gears whether they are engaging properly. Replace any faulty gear.

No Paper Movement...

ØCheck for any Obstruction in the Paper Feed Path.

ØCheck for the paper feed gears in the mechanism replace the damaged gears.

Paper Jam...

ØCheck for proper alignment of the paper, when loaded to the mechanism.

ØCheck position of the paper select lever.

ØCheck for any paper particles / Foreign matter obstructing the paper movement. Remove and Clean it.

ØCheck the need for any Lubrication to be done and do it.

ØCheck the Friction roller mechanism for its proper functioning.

ØCheck the Paper feeding mechanism for any damage in the Gears and solve it.

ØCheck the alignment of the Carriage Assembly and fix it properly.

Note : Ensure the Quality of the Paper to be suitable for the Job

Junk Printing...

ØCheck the Emulation used and set it properly.

ØTry printing on other Computer to eliminate the possibility of fault on the PC side.

ØEnsure the Cable to be proper, if not replace it.
