Testing your DMP

Load a Paper...

ØSingle Sheets :-

–Turn on the printer

–Make sure the paper select lever is in friction position

–Insert the paper into Sheet guide behind the platen Insert the paper of about one-inch.

–The paper will advance automatically around the platen and position itself in front of the print head.

–If you want to adjust paper, move the P.S level in PIN mode and adjust.

Ø

ØContinuous Sheets :-

–Use Tractor for loading continuous sheets.

–In tractors sprockets are made available to insert other paper.

–Open the flap on the sprocket of both sprocket, set the paper make sure that the level of paper is equal on the sprocket and close it.

–Make sure P.S lever is in Pin position and Turn the knob until paper advances into slot.

–Then Turn ON the Printer and the paper will automatically advance.

Take a Self Test...

ØMSP Series

•Press LF/FF and turn on the printer. The printer will print the self test.

ØQX Series

•Press Online switch and turn on the printer. The printer will print the self test .

ØNote : A Self test will confirm that the printer is working well in all the fonts and that the Printer assembly is working fine.

Take a Menu Test...

ØMSP series (Except MSP 155/145 ) :

•Press Font for 5 sec to enter into the Menu Setting.

•Press LF and the Head will move from one field to another.

•When it comes to the desired field, Press Online to save.

•To confirm this, ensure that the printer shades on the selected field.

•To go to next record without doing any change in a particular record, press Font.

•To exit from menu then press Pitch. The printer will save all the changes and exit from the Menu mode.
