6. HEAT

         2.           REFRACTION OF LIGHT

         Refraction of light and Refractive Index; Laws of Refraction; Wave length of Light and Refractive index; Refraction through a Glass Slab and Prism; Total Internal Reflection; Some phenomena caused by refraction and total Internal Reflection of Light; Lenses; Power of Lens; Image Formation in Lenses; Microscope; Telescope; Defects of Eye.

         3.      ELECTRICITY AND ITS EFFECTS

         Electric Current and Conductor; Electric Current and Magnetism; Electric used at industry and at home of   Hazards Electricity and Precautions.

                 4.      THE SUN – MAJOR SOURCE OF ENERGY

        What powers the sun; Solar Furnace; Solar energy can be used to generate electricity;  Electricity from the wind;   Electricity from moving water.

        5.   ENERGY FROM FUELS
