The Award is given to three students –
2(two) prizes for the 1st & 2nd female students
and 1(one) prize for the 1st male student as per rank order of the Exam. Results.
Given to student who secures the highest marks in Manipuri and passes in 1st division in the HSLC Exam.
Given to student
who secures the highest marks in Mathematics and passes in 1st
division in the HSLC Exam.

Given to students
who secure the highest marks in Mathematics and Science subjects and pass in
1st division in the HSLC Exam from each of the General, The Scheduled
Caste and the Scheduled Tribe categories.

A Silver Medal is awarded to
the student whose mother tongue is not Manipuri and who passes in the
1st Division and secures the highest marks in the Elementary Manipuri
in the HSLC Exam.
Given to student who
secures the highest marks in Paite and passes in 1st division in the
HSLC Exam.
Given to student who
secures the highest marks but not less than 60% in MIL Hindi or Elective Hindi
and passes in the First Division in HSLC Exam.
Given to visually handicapped (blind) student who passes the HSLC Exam and stood 1st among the visually handicapped students.
Given to the school
who produces the 1st position holder of the HSLC Exam conducted by
the BSEM.
The award is given to the student who passes the HSLC Exam with highest marks in Social Sciences.
Given to the State Govt School, which produces the highest rank student amongst the students of the Govt schools in the HSLC conducted by the Board.
Given to student who passes in First Division and secures the highest marks in English>
The scholarship was instituted by Shri R.C. Govil, Chairman, Frank Brothers and Company, New Delhi.
A Test on Mathematics is
administered to the students reading in class IX in schools recognised by BSEM
to select two students. The Test consists of three parts. One part is the
preliminary Test conducted in December. The preliminary test selects 100
students. A Second Test held in January selects 16 students. An interview taken
to the 16 students selects finally two students. Monthly scholarships of Rs.
110/- and Rs. 100/- respectively are given to the first and the second students
for one year if they continue their studies in class X in schools recognised by
the Board.
