This portal is aimed to generate
an e-marketing for the locally produced resources by rural people. The
entire marketing process is handled by the members of
Community Development Forum l;Dhakuahanana i.e. a society constituted by
students of Community Information
Centre,
Dhakuakhana. The aim is to generate a wider market both nationally
and internationally for the priceless indigenous resources.
Initially the marketing of organic rice is taken on priority basis which
is grown here withoput using any chemical fertilizer and chemical
pesticides. The entire process is in toto indigenous without using
any machine . The rice extracting process is done through dheki; a
pounding instrument prepared from tree logs.
Also efforts have
been made to generate some funding to students through selling their Arts
in this chronic flood affected region whose economy is shattering due to
perennial flood in spite of high literacy rate.
