Every religion preaches the path of sacrifice and human goodness ,except Buddhism and Jainism with little bit of rejection . So religion will never come as a bar in such noble work. Hinduism has cultivated with it this kind of idea since its origin . Even today religious leaders are also asked their followers to donate Eyes. Islam which is known for its notion of sacrifice , also allow its followers to Donate Eyes. Quarn also prescribe the same. Its vested the right to the believers to decide on it. On the other hand ,Buddhism and Jainism which is known for its regied s in this matter , are softening there attitude in this matter. So overcome all of question that may aeries due to religion ,religion is for life, to live and the ensure other a good a happy life.
OUR FUTURE PLANS
some reliable sources as well some repots revels that the people of lakhimpur are unaware or little aware about Eye donation. we also find that some people are misguided by some false nation.So to discord this problem in recent future we will pursue several initiatives. It is not our deciation only several agencies, people of different status pursued us to do the same. We hope the following steps will create greater awarness among the people as well as bring greater result to us:-
1. poster and Banners will be displayed at every public places. Advertisement will be released in news papers.
2. A news letter will be published - which will bring to you the view point of other including exports, doctors, geast etc. this will also fulfill your quarries. Though this also an opportunity will be given to you to express your sentiments, to write into it.
3. Open Houses will be organized, which will be attended by doctors, social workers ,Donor families and recipients.
4. Information Center/Helpline center will be set-up.
5.Awareness programs will be organized in public places ,Slums, Hospitals and Voluntary Organizations.
6. Information Pamphlets on Eye Donation ,Pledge forms and information booklets will be distributed among the people,to the Bank ,L.I.C , G.I.C , hospital, school, collage, social organization and Various other organization.
7. we will organize exhibition to motivate the people, to remind them about our existence, to satisfy there concern.
8.To bridge the gap between demand and availability of donor eyes we will also focus the school and collage students. Essay compection, drama seminar, classes and workshop will be organized. Poster painting and slogan writing compection also organized and the winner will be awarder.
AN APPEAL
The world is a beautiful place to live in , if you the changing colures. The spring leaves, the blooming rose, the sunset , the rainbow and so many other things that is best for our eyes . Imagine a day when there will be nothing expect darkness and we will shiver in fear. Blindness itself is a course to parson - a situation that lead to a colourless life. Try to realise this grime situation . Try to led them a life of satisfaction , enable them to realize the beauty of life and world, who due to blindness yet leaving a miserable live.Dircet them towards leaving a living a life full of vigor , strength and savvy .
