Narayanpur is situated on the Northern bank of river Brahmaputra is about 60 kms away from the District Headquarter .
		Letekupukhuri, the birth place of famous saint Mahapurush Sri Sri MadhabDev, is about 15 kms away from Narayanpur.
	The Tai Khamties , a tribe of rich and glorious heritage , belonging to the great Tai race , migrated to Assam in the middle part of 18 th century. They have their own script and a well  developed language including innumerable literary works.
Fisheries can play a significant role towards the socio-economic upliftment of the common people of the Narayanpur Development Block.		Community Information Centre of Narayanpur is about 1.5 kms away from Narayanpur center down towards Bihpuria.
